Maestro Bickram Ghosh is widely considered to be one of India's greatest versatile artists. He is one of the rare artists who excel in three musical fields simultaneously. These are Indian Classical, fusion, and film scoring. He has a formidable reputation as one of the world’s greatest classical tabla players. He is the son and disciple of the great tabla maestro Pandit Shankar Ghosh. He is widely recognised as one of the pioneering forces of fusion music in India in the current era.
